Keep store-bought bread and other baked goods in the original wrapping. Avoid over-packing the box to allow for ideal air circulation.
HAND WASH & OIL. Before first use, wipe down the lid with a damp towel, and wash the bread box with warm, soapy water. Avoid using detergent on the lid, and instead wipe it clean as needed. Allow to air dry. Do not soak. Not dishwasher safe. Occasionally apply board oil to the bread box's wooden lid to prevent it from drying out, warping or cracking.
